Plot: Policeman Chris Morgan can't make it on his cop's salary, so in the evenings he drives a taxi to get some extra cash. During one shift, a woman named Kari flees his cab to avoid paying her fare. That's not the last he sees of her, however, because Kari suddenly resurfaces during one of Chris's murder investigations.

And before long, Chris is in over his head, falling in love with the mysterious Kari and contending with corrupt cops out to frame him.
